Anticorrosion Property of a New Polyaniline Coating

Polyaniline was synthesized through chemical-oxidation in acid environment .Steel samples of eigenstate polyaniline or doped polyaniline with various contents were prepared and their corrosion behaviors in 3.5% NaCl and 1 mol/L HCl solutions were compared using tafel plots.Results showed that the anticorrosion property of eigenstate polyaniline coating was better than that of doped one and anticorrosion property of polyaniline in various states was related with both medium and polyaniline content.
