Abstract
High temperature and high pressure corrosion environments were stimulated using a autoclave, and the effect of flow rate on corrosion behavior of N80 steel was studied by SEM, weight loss method and so on. The results show that the corrosion rate of N80 steel increased exponentially with the rise of flow rate at 100 ℃, 0.6 MPa CO2 partial pressure. The corrosion type of N80 steel was mainly general corrosion when the flow rate was low, and the role played by fluid erosion was quite limited. But the corrosion type of N80 steel changed into localized corrosion at high flow rate, the localized corrosion was markedly accelerated by fluid erosion.
