REGIONAL CATHODIC PROTECTION IN PUMP STATIONS

The necessity,significance and development of regional cathodic protection are presented in this article,and a series of issues during its implementation are included,such as the design of anodic ground,protective objects,protective current density,position of reference electrode,etc.A lot of application examples have proved that regional cathodic protection is effective to protect the buried facilities in pump stations.Problems exiting in regional cathodic protection and corresponding solutions are proposed.
