    Effect of Process Parameters on Deposition Rate of Electroless Nickel Plating on Zinc Alloy

    • The Ni-P coating on zinc alloy prepared by alkaline pre-nickel plating pluse acidic electroless nickel plating was investigated.The effects of bath temperature,pH value and main bath ingredients on deposition rate were discussed.The results indicated that the deposition rate increased rapidly with increasing bath temperature and pH value as the plating bath was stable.The peak value of deposition rate,i.e.12 μm/h,could be obtained by optimized electroless nickel plating process.
