    Galvanic Corrosion of G3-TP110SS Steel Couples in Annular Protective Fluid

    • In order to prevent the galvanic corrosion between G3 steel and TP110SS steel, the effects of pH and temperature on the rate of galvanic corrosion were studied by electrochemical methods, and it could offer some important suggestions to production. The results showed that G3 steel-TP110SS steel couples suffered galvanic corrosion in annular protective fluid, G3 steel was cathode and TP110SS steel was anode respectively. With the elevation of pH value, the galvanic potential increased, and the galvanic corrosion rate decreased. As the temperature increased, the galvanic potential decreased and the galvanic corrosion rate increased.
