    Corrosion Analysis and Anticorrosion Measures for Compression System in Ethylene Unit

    • Corrosion caused by transition from oil-injection mode to water-injection mode was analyzed.It was found that the main reason was that sulfide in the cracking gas was pyrolyzed to H2S etc,which dissolved in water to lead reduction of pH value and thus the occurrence of corrosion.The corresponding anticorrosion measures were presented.Especially the injection of inhibitor in compression system as a processing anticorrosion measure and its effectiveness were introduced in detail.
