COMPARISON OF CATHODIC DISBONDMENT OF COATINGS WITH SCALE FILLERS

In this work,the hydroxy acrylic resin was used to match the coating.Three kinds of scale fillers were added.The grain sizes and distribution of the scales in the coatings,and the influence of the scales on cathodic disbondment of the coatings were studied.The results show that the efficiency of stainless steel flakes and glass flakes to improve the cathodic disbondment was better than that of mica powder.When the amount of the added scales was controlled to the mass fraction 40% of the total solids content of coatings,the coating could achieve excellent anti-corrosive performance.
