    Application of GM(1, 1) Model Based on Excel to Prediction of Oil and Gas Pipeline Corrosion Rate

    • With the application of the least square principle and gray system theory, GM(1, 1) grey series forecasting model was built based on the powerful matrix operation capability and programming function in Microsoft Excel. The usability and accuracy of the model is confirmed by examples. The model can be used to predict the corrosion rate of oil and gas pipelines.
