    Corrosion Behavior of Microarc Oxidation Films on Aluminum Alloy in Seawater

    • In order to study the effect of microarc oxidation and sealing treatment on seawater corrosion resistance of 6061 aluminum alloy,the laboratory seawater immersion test,copper ion solution immersion test and galvanic corrosion test were carried out.The results showed that there was pitting corrosion on microarc oxidized aluminum alloy and the pitting was reduced after sealing treatment.Corrosion of microarc oxidized aluminum alloy was accelerated when it was coupled with copper alloy.The electrical contact of microarc oxidized aluminum alloy with copper alloy should be avoided.
