Abstract
The corrosion behavior of pulse plated nickel coatings in H2SO4 solution were investigated by weight loss tests and anodic polarization curve tests. The morphological information was acquired by SEM.Based on the orthogonal tests, the effects of Jm,f,R and pH value on the corrosion behavior of the Ni deposits were studied.Using anodic polarization curve test results as the index to make the fator-level trend charts, the influence of the factors on the corrosion of Ni was determined. The results show that the best corrosion behavior would be obtained, when the pulse frequency f got higher, duty ratio R got lower, mean pulse current density Jm was about 3.5 A/cm-2,pH was 3.3.
