Abstract
The corrosion of pressure vessels, pipelines, steam generators and other structure materials in pressurized water reactor (PWR) in high temperature and high pressure water is an important factor that affects the safety of nuclear power plants. The oxide films on the metal surface play a key role for the stable service and environmental failure. Oxide films on alloy 600 were prepared in high temperature water containing Zn2+ and Na+. Semiconductor properties of the oxide films were analyzed using Mott-Schottky method and mass index before and after the preparation of oxide films. The results indicated that the alloy 600 showed better corrosion resistance in high temperature water solution containing zinc.
