Corrosion of Sulfate Reducing Bacteria in Oil-water System

In oil-water system, the researches about formation process of corrosion caused by sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB), corrosion mechanism, test and evaluation methods, influence factors, and methods of corrosion control are not mature. Based on extensive reading related literature in this field, this paper summarizes the research status of corrosion of SRB in this system, lists the main research methods and the latest applications, summarizes the encountered problems and solutions in the research, and presents the research directions and suggestions.
