    Progress in Preparation of Corrosion Resistant Zinc-magnesium Alloying Coating

    • As a new type of zinc-base corrosion resistant coating on steel sheet, the zinc-magnesium (Zn-Mg) alloying coating has drawn more and more attention. This paper reviews the research progress of Zn-Mg coatings prepared by various technologies in recent years, and indicates that Zn-Mg coatings have better corrosion resistance than galvanized steel. Various deposition processes such as electroplating, hot-dip plating and vacuum plating are described and analyzed.
