Research and Application Status of Osmotic Organosilicon Protective Surface Coatings

The corrosion mechanism of concrete and the protective mechanism of organosilicone coatings are summarized.In accordance with the different composition forms,organosilicone protective coatings may be divided into water-based,solvent-based and emulsion-based coatings.Their action principles,advantages and disadvantages are described respectively.The research status,existing products in the market and the normative standards of performance tests of organosilicone protective coatings are also introduced.As an effective anti-corrosion method,organosilicone protective coatings have been widely used in engineering.
