INTERGRANULAR CORROSION BEHAVIOUR OF 304 AND 316L STAINLESS STEEL TUBES IN SIMULATED SEAWATER AND RIVER WATER
The erosion-corrosion experiment for 304 and 316L stainless steel tubes was performed with a self-designed cycling experimental instrument.The micrographs observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that intergranular corrosion took place in both 304 and 316L stainless steels in the simulated seawater and river water.
