Effect of Rolling Process and Mixed Rare Earth on Electrochemical Performance of Al Alloy Anodes

    • Modern examination techniques such as galvanodynamic(E-t curves) method,Tafel curves ,SEM and energy spectrum have been applied to analyze the effect of different rolling processes and mixed rare earth on electrochemical properties of Al alloy anodes in alkaline solution(80 ℃,Na2SnO3 + 5 mol/L NaOH).The results showed that in the amount of 40% pass deformation,as the rolling temperature got higher, the open-circuit potential falled, and the anti-corrosion properties and electrochemical activity increased at first and then decreased. At the rolling temperatures of 370 ℃,with increasing the pass deformation, the open-circuit potential increased and electrochemical activity gradually decreased,at the same time the anti-corrosion properties decreased at first and then increased; At 370 ℃,by pass deformation for 40%,with increasing the mixed rare earth content, the electrochemical activity gradually decreased and the anti-corrosion properties increased.
