Influence of Water Content on Corrosion Behavior of Q235 in Dagang Soil at Initial Stage

    • The influence of water content on corrosion behavior of Q235 in Dagang soil at initial stage was studied by polarization curve and EIS technique. The results indicate that the corrosion potential of Q235 was depressed with the increase of water content. When the water content exceeded 20%,the corrosion potential kept a constant value, the changes of corrosion current density Icorr and charge transfer resistance Rt were little. In the soil with low water content, the corrosion of Q235 was controlled by the anodic reaction, and it controlled by the diffusion process of cathodic reaction at high water content.
