Influence of Cooling Type on Electrochemical Corrosion Behavior of As-cast Pb-Ag Anode in Zinc Electrowinning
-
Abstract
The microstructure and electrochemical corrosion behavior of as-cast Pb-Ag alloy prepared at different cooling rates were studied by field emission SEM (FESEM) and electrochemical workstation. The results show that the water-cooled lead alloy can obviously increase the faction of cellular boundaries and consequently decrease the corrosion resistance of lead alloy in zinc electrowinning.
