  • Xujiahe formation gas pool in western Sichuan is a high temperature, high pressure and fractured gas reservoir with some water, carbon dioxide and high reservoir water salinity. The production string and ground equipment are corroded badly after gas wells produced water. According to the gas well corrosion environment and corrosion characteristics, the interior corrosion simulation, software simulation and field testing were performed to study. the carbon dioxide corrosion and galvanic corrosion of the gas well tubings. The corrosion law is summarized and some targeted anticorrosive measures to maintain the long-term stable production of the gas wells are suggested.
