    Electrochemical Behavior of X80 Steel and Welding Line in Acid Soil Environment

    • By means of the potentiodynamic scanning and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,the corrosion process of X80 steel in an acid medium was studied,and the experimental results were fitted by using CHI electrochemical workstation and the software of Zsimpwin.The results showed that the polarization curves of X80 pipeline steel and welded joints in simulated Yingtan soil solution had the characteristic of active dissolution.The corrosion resistance of the welding line was better than that of the base metal.It was due to some corrosion-resistant alloying elements mixed into the welding line which can enhance the corrosion resistance.
