Abstract
Galvanic corrosion of copper cooling pipes lined with copolymer were tested by seawater immersed test, galvanic corrosion test, simulated pipe test and scanning electron microscopy. The results showed that the galvanic corrosion between red copper and high potential metal was efficiently controlled by lining ethylene acrylic ocid (EAA) copolymer or overlaying epoxy glass flakes, the effect of lining ethylene acrylic acid (EAA) copolymer was more excellent than that of overlaying epoxy glass-flakes.
