    Corrosion Analysis of Water Injection Pipeline in Hailaer Oilfield

    • The underground water injection pipeline material in Hailar oil field is 20# carbon steel. The pipeline in the operation process suffered inner wall corrosion problem. In order to find out the reasons of corrosion, the conveying media were tested and the corrosion products were andyzed by SEM and EDS, It is found that the internal corrosion of the water injection pipeline was mainly due to the high oxygen content in water injection resulting in oxygen corrosion, and the presence of a large number of chloride ions accelerated pipeline corrosion. Some corrosion prevention measures were put forward, including adopting nanometer inner anticorrosion paint and adding corrosion inhibitor, or using FRP (fibre reinforced plastic) pipeline.
