Corrosion and Protection of Concrete Platform for Stacking and Transporting Urea

Modified cation neoprene latex utilized as a corrosion protection approach in a concrete platform for stacking and transporting urea in a large-scale urea plant was investigated and compared with the vinyl ester resin and polyurea elastomer material.The results demonstrated that the modified cation neoprene latex had better corrosion protection performance in the platform,The in-service life of the concrete could be expected to be more than ten years.
