An Investigation on Corrosion of Oil Pipeline from Liutun to Wenliu in Zhongyuan Oil Field

An investigation of the corrosion and the corrosion reasons of the gas pipeline from liutun to wenliu was conducted.The outside wall of the pipeline was corroded because of the strong corrosion factor of the soil such as high salinity and low electric resistivity etc and aging of outside protective layers.Some suggestions such as adding cathodic protection etc have been adoptted to prolong the using time of the pipeline.
