Abstract
The corrosion behaviors of 7A04 aluminum alloy in Xisha marine atmosphere were investigated by atmospheric exposure experiments and testing the weight loss curve, corrosion rate and power function fitting. The macro and micro surface morphology of aluminum alloy corroded and the structure of corrosion products were observed and analyzed by SEM, EDS and XRD. The results show that with testing hours prolonging, the corrosion product and mass loss increased. The relationship between corrosion loss and time accords with exponential attenuation rule as C=Atn. Surface observation reveals that the corrosion product was agglomerated and accidented. The corrosion product was mainly composed of Al2O3,Al(OH)3 and AlOOH.
