    Corrosion Behavior of Commercial Pure Titanium in HCl

    • Corrosion behavior of TA1 in HCl solution was studied by immersion and electrochemical tests.The results showed that with increasing the concentration of HCl,the self-corrosion potential decreased,the current density increased,and the corrosion rate increased.With the addition of Fe3+,the self-corrosion potential of TA1 rised,the current density in passivation range decreased and the slope of polarization curve decreased,and the corrosion rate decreased obviously.
