Corrosion Behavior of Commercial Pure Titanium in HCl

Abstract
Corrosion behavior of TA1 in HCl solution was studied by immersion and electrochemical tests.The results showed that with increasing the concentration of HCl,the self-corrosion potential decreased,the current density increased,and the corrosion rate increased.With the addition of Fe3+,the self-corrosion potential of TA1 rised,the current density in passivation range decreased and the slope of polarization curve decreased,and the corrosion rate decreased obviously.
