Abstract
Zinc addition effects on general corrosion of Nickel-base Alloy 690 were investigated in simulated PWR primary coolant with 10 μg/kg zinc addition at 320 ℃, 15.20 MPa for 1000 h. The results show that with the addition of zinc, the corrosion rate of Nickel-base Alloy is effectively reduced. The surface oxide film is thinner, the morphology and chemical composition of surface oxide scales are changed.
