   showthat20steel g roundp i p elinewasseriousl ycorrodedinmult i p lethermalfluids.Bainiteand Weidnerstructureswere

   observedinthemicrostructureofthefailedp i p esectionsurface , andthecarboncontentofthep i p elinewasreduced.Carbon

   dioxidecorrosionoccurredfirst , andthenox yg encorrosionoccurredinthe p i p eline.Ox yg eninthereactantshadthe g reatest

   effectonthecorrosionrateofthe p i p eline.

   Theresultsshowthattheaccurac y ofthe p redictionmodelreached89% , whichp rovedthatthemodelwassuitableforfailure
